Surface Collapse/Integration (2023)

This series consolidates earlier investigations into interference, layering, and catastrophe into single, continuous surfaces. Working on the reverse side of plexiglass sheets, pixelated digital imagery, figuration, process-based evidence, and environmental elements are folded and compressed into the picture plane.

Rather than extending into physical space, all operations occur on the surface itself, producing images that register as interpenetrating realities.

What emerges is not depth but accumulation at the absolute flatness of the reverse plexiglass surface. The result is a field where representation, disruption, and material trace are held in tension without resolution.
